Painting In Progress (birds and blossoms)

It’s supposed to be spring here in the mountains of New Hampshire but we’re still turning the heat on at night and the daytime temperatures remain below average for this time of year.  It hasn’t stopped the birds from migrating back (thank goodness!), and while there aren’t any blossoms on many of the trees, shrubs and bushes just yet, the buds are forming so there will be much to see soon.  It’s got to warm up soon, right?  I’m working on a few new paintings for a members exhibit opening at the Copley gallery soon.  Here’s one of the works in progress for the show.  Stay tuned for more information on the show and to see the finished artworks I’ll be submitting!
