Second Place Award – Littleton Fall Arts Festival

The 42nd Littleton Fall Arts Festival was held this past Saturday, September 24th.  I’m pleased to report my painting of a snowy owl, titled “Bird’s Eye View” received a Second Place Award in the Painting/Drawing category.  I also garnered a Purchase Award before the day was out, which made up for the start of the day when my tent broke down just as I was setting it up.  And, of course it was raining!  However, being the “seasoned” art show exhibitor and practical New Englander that I am, I never go anywhere without my trusty roll of duct tape.  It held the tent together well enough to get me through the day…thankfully there wasn’t any wind!  I know what I’ll be doing this week since I have a few more outdoor art festivals to attend before the show season ends for the year.

  1. Well deserved prize, it’s beautiful and great story – you’re a trouper. You know you are a new englander woman when instead of make up in your purse you have duct tape and bag balm:-)

Love bag balm! And I do keep a small container with me!
