I’ve been chosen to participate in an invitational exhibit of wildlife art to be held at the View Arts Center in Old Forge, New York. A thrill for me as a wildlife artist to be sure…it’s a beautiful building and in such an inspiring location as the Adirondacks of New York state! The show opens on December 8th and will remain open to the public until April 28, 2013. Consequently, I’ve been a busy bee in my studio lately, working on new paintings and getting all the art ready for shipping. As I know more details, I’ll keep you posted on what’s happening with this art show. Here’s a peek at one of the pieces I’m including in this exhibit. The curator asked that the art reflect animals found in New England. Naturally, I thought a moose would be a good subject to include since the Adirondacks of NY as well as the other New England states are home to these magnificent creatures.
