2016 Kentucky National Wildlife Art Exhibit

Prince of Leaves WIMy painting, “Prince of Leaves”, has been accepted into the  2016 Kentucky National Wildlife Art Exhibition!!  Whoo-hoo!!  The exhibition opens on October 21, 2016.  This art show is sponsored and hosted by the Ohio Valley Art League and the Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife Resources in Henderson, Kentucky, the home of John James Audubon, famous for painting the birds in North America.  The purpose of this exhibit is to increase awareness for the preservation of wildlife and to recognize artists who derive inspiration and imagery from wildlife and environments.  My painting is one of 79 artworks representing 20 states for this show.  The exhibition is held at the Henderson Fine Arts Center at the Henderson Community College.  The artwork will be judged for awards soon…  stay tuned for more news on this!
