I’m working on two versions of this moose.  This one is a commissioned work with evergreen trees in the background and the second painting will feature more of a Fall background.  The work in progress is slow going at the moment but I’m pleased with how the commissioned one is coming out so far.  I’ve had the reference photo for this moose image in my files and longed to paint it for a while now.  You know how that goes… just too many irons in the fire.  So when a client requested a moose, I jumped at the chance to paint it!
