I’m thrilled to announce my painting of a white-breasted nuthatch titled, “Upwardly Mobile” has been juried into this regional watercolor exhibition. It was a very competitive selection process, with only 66 out of 379 paintings accepted to the show. In an earlier post this year, I talked about the creation of this painting and the difficulties I had with it. I’m so glad I didn’t give up on it because receiving the acceptance notice is one of the best things to happen to me in recent weeks! This exhibit is one of several juried events sponsored by the New England Watercolor Society and counts towards upgrading my member status… one of the goals in my “5 year plan”.
